TCSES uses the Quality Matters Rubric to review online courses at several affiliates. Quality Matters (QM) is a faculty-centered, peer review process designed to certify the quality of online courses and online components. Quality Matters has generated widespread interest and received national recognition for its peer-based approach to quality assurance and continuous improvement in online education.
This webinar walks you through the latest edition of the rubric, provides a brief overview of each section, and provides strategies for creating outcomes, rubrics, and measurable/aligned assignments in order to its requirements.

Presenter Bio:
Tracy Lynn Deis is an Instructional Designer for TCS Education System. Since 2010, she’s worked collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Department Chairs to build engaging online courses for TCSES affiliates. She’s designed training and online courses for over 18 years and resides in Central Ohio with her teenaged daughter and two cats.
