Abstract
There are many strategies that have been used to improve online learning and this webinar will focus on effective learning strategies that can be used to increase engagement in your Canvas courses.
Description:
There are numerous resources available that discuss effective learning strategies for the online learner. However, many faculty do not have time to sift through all the information to find strategies that fit their teaching style and best serve the students in their classes. Also, although all these strategies may seem to be effective they are not always suitable for all student populations.
This webinar will discuss the strategies that are found to be most effective at the higher education level and are can be easily integrated into Canvas.
The objectives of this webinar are to:
- Discuss the current student population and the possible needs they have
- Discuss strategies that can be used to engage the online learner
- Demonstrate how these strategies could be incorporated using Canvas
